NEW ORLEANS, LA.– It wasn’t the greatest game you will ever see, but it was pretty good with the Bulls scoring 113 points in a shootout with the Pelicans.
It was a surprise to see 113 points scored for Chicago since Zach Lavine and Lauri Markkanen sat out. Cristiano Felicio led the Bulls in scoring coming off the bench for 15 points and 5 rebounds. Justin Holiday added 14 points, Jerian Grant had 11 points and 9 assists, while Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic each added 9 rebounds.
As a team, the Bulls shot 51.2 percent on field goals making 44-86. They shot 16-35 on three-pointers which equals out to 45.7 percent and made 9-13 free throw attempts for an FT percentage of 69.2 percent. They only scored 2 points on the fast break, while scoring 32 in the paint.
The Bulls combined hauled in 44 rebounds, assisted 30 times, stole the ball 10 times, and only committed 14 turnovers.
